Dolphins in Bonaire
On February 21st, I was lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time to see dolphins swim in the open ocean. It happened after my first day scuba diving in Bonaire, a pod of dolphins started playing around our boat and followed us on our way back to land. Poeple who have been living on the island for a few months and even years had never seen them yet and I had my first dolphin encounter on the first day of my trip. It felt truly magical to see them from this close, squeaking and playing.
For as long as I can remember the dolphin has always been my favorite animal. Doing school projects in elementary school and learning more about how intelligent they are was something I was really curious about.
They have always played an omnipresent role in our family and they’ve been around me, watching over me for all my life and that’s what made this encounter so special.
P.S I had written this on December 7th I wrote this post and didn’t get around to publishing it #manifesting
I dream of swimming with dolphins in the open ocean and I secretly hope I will get the chance to do so during my trip to Bonaire.
